👋🏽 Hello There

If there are any issues or spelling errors for this issue - my bad. I didn’t have enough time to review review like I normally do. This issue is super short cause sometimes I want to spend time on my couch instead of outside spending monies.

Am I the only one who misses Blackberries? It was fun to be like ‘what’s your BBM?’ It was like an ‘exclusive’ club since there was more variety in phone options that people picked from.

Okay, so one thing I’ve noticed recently with all my east coast friends is that we have the understanding that if the coast is clear then you don't need to fully stop to turn right more of a ‘California stop’ aka rolling stop. I feel like whenever I see a car stopping then turning, I wanna be like UM HELLO L-E-T-S G-O, the coast is clear because you are stopping me from beating the GPS time*.

Also, if you’re ever wondering what’s going on in my head, it goes a little something like this …

Ruby-chan! Hai!, Whim Wammiee, a random heavy metal song, Smartsheet, Homer Simpson drooling (me when I get to eat tasty food or a sweet treat), sleeping, nerdy Lisa Simpson moments, and Tina Belcher dancing to celebrate a fun or great moment.

PS I definitely find it funny after Beyonce won the Grammy in this category, they decided to change it. It’s not the Best Country Album category anymore but spilt it into two categories - Best Traditional Country Album and Best Contemporary Country Album. I feel like when Beyonce saw the change she couldn’t help but sing her own lyrics

Chanel just launched a luxury textile recycling platform. I think this will be the start of a new trend within the luxury industry.

Could you image if Hermes created a venture where you could resell your bags through them? This could help/would guarantee authenticity of the product someone is purchasing. I am interested in seeing what other luxury houses decide to do especially at the big companies like LVMH or Kering.

Books

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros - So, I liked this book but I am still debating if I want to continue the series. It has a predictable storyline i.e. enemies to friends/lover and then add a dash of dragons and other magical things. It doesn’t give you anything new to the category but I did enjoy this book and would recommend to anyone needing a fantasy popcorn read

Ballerina (In Theaters) - If you enjoy John Wick this is the essentially the same thing but with more of an origin story and female lead. The fight scenes were mostly realistic so that was nice. I’m hoping there will be a sequel because I love a good popcorn movie and with a female lead is two thumbs up.

Materialists (In Theaters) - I’m still deciding how I feel about this movie and I don’t mean that in a negative way either as I did like it. If you’ve seen it, what do you think?

Staying In

TV

Sirens (Netflix) - It’s a fun and ‘quick’ watch. Although, I thought it would go more into mythology of sirens with a modern twist. I’m interested to see if they will do future seasons or not for this as it could go in either direction and be fine to do so.
