Somehow there are only 10 days left in this month. Why is time going by so so fast?! Iâve been listening to the new Glorilla album. Itâs a bop and a half. There is a hype up song for most moments in your life from church (although Grandma might not approve), going out or a quiet night in with your romantic partner. This is album is explicit and Glorilla is a female rapper if you didnât know. Speaking of rappers, have yaâll seen the video of attendees at LSUâs stadium singing Boosie lyrics word for word? If not, Google is your friend.
Iâve recently gotten back into Tiny Desk Concerts after seeing a clip of Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso. I am so into the vibe of this duoâs Tiny Desk concert.
I feel like Iâve been posting about music enough that it should be the newest category below. Iâm also not sure why I havenât done that already but đ¤ˇđ˝ââď¸.

READING  Can you believe I read all these books in ~5 weeks while having a social life, plus working a full time job Books The Townsend Family Recipe for Disaster by Shauna Robinson The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes Bye, Baby by Carola Lovering A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (Book 1 out of 5 in the series out so far, Book 6 coming in 2025 I think?!) Articles Harpers - The Life and Death of Hollywood Science News - Pregnancy overhauls the brain. Hereâs what that looks like National Geographic - There are 6 forms of depression, study shows. Hereâs how theyâre different FYI in case you didnât know use archive.org if you need help reading | FUN Going Out EUROPE London, UK - Kioku Bar USA Seattle, WA - The Nest Los Angeles, CA - Claedo Studio Movies Beetlejuice Beetlejuice - I donât know what it was but something was missing. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Was the movie necessary? No. Costuming and sets were gorgeous and insanely well done. Staying In Movies The Watchers (HBO/Max) - I watched this on my plane ride to Seattle. It was an engaging movie during that time. Now, what I expected this movie to be and what it actually was? Two different things when it came to certain plot concepts. I did enjoy the movie and thought the pacing was done well for the most part. TV I am Georgina (Netflix) - I mentioned this show in the issue that went out on Sept 24rd but Iâve finished the 3rd season and still enjoy the show. Georgina seems like a chill but aware person. Like I wanna be friends with Georgina and we can do things like grab lunch and go shopping. Although as of right now her budget is MUCH bigger than mine haha. Also thereâs a lot more of CR so you can watch with your football/soccer loving significant other or friend. Itâs always nice to get a peak into the personal life of a famous athlete. The Perfect Couple (Netflix) - I thought it was the maid, was I right? Well if you havenât watched yet youâll have to in order to find out if Iâm right. Also, skip the title card intro dance sequence as it has NOTHING to do with the plot. Wealthy people, hidden secrets and a small island. What else can go wrong besides a murder? I thought this was a fun and sensible miniseries that I liked more than I thought I would. Industry (HBO/Max) - I FUDGING LOVE THIS SHOW. Not because it takes place in the world of finance but because every character is deeply flawed and human. You truly hate to root for them but you canât help yourself doing that at times. I will say the season 3 finale had me pausing for a moment and like WTF at times due to a few characters actions although for certain ones it didnât come as a surprise. |
