VOLUME 2 - ISSUE 20: October 7, 2024

đŸ‘‹đŸœ Hello There

Somehow it’s October so my vibe for the month is this cute kid. The other day when I was on the 101 coming from Malibu, I saw this car with HISLOSS as their license plate and laughed. I wanted to get to know the driver behind the car because I feel like we would get along well haha.

During that same drive I also saw a Mazda and Rolls Royce almost collide right in front of me; thankfully they didn’t. FYI if you use LinkedIn, they opted every member into giving their content/information to train their AI. If you want to opt out, go to your Data Privacy section under settings. From there toggle the slide to turn off “Data for generative AI improvement”.

It’s quite frustrating for companies to opt you into things and then if you don’t know about it your data is being used for things you may not agree with.

Have you all finally found out about the Pygmy hippo Moo Deng? She became an internet celebrity last month. All ages are a fan of her and it’s interesting to see how one animal can cause such chaos and notoriety due to their behavior in social media posts.

Also, on a more serious note, for anyone looking to help out charitably with the Hurricane Helene recovery efforts; click the following links from NC Department of Public Safety and ABC News.

This issue is a continuation from the last one with businesses I want to highlight during Hispanic Heritage month. See you in two weeks!
