Did you miss me in your Inbox? Maybe not but thatâs okay. We both will survive.
According to TikTok, we have shifted timelines although, I donât know what that means exactly. But I do know, I shifted myself into a âEuro Summerâ mindset for a bit thatâs why itâs been a month since the last issue.
I ate lots of amazing food while I was in Europe and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed both Helsinki and Tallinn. As an American, itâs fun to have friends from countries I would have never otherwise travelled to (hi HT & ZC!). A Finnish man said, I was friendly. I laughed and was like me?!
I see everyone is finally in the know as Hugo Spritz seems to be the drink of Summer 2024. And who predicated this last summer to friends in Croatia while sipping on said drink? Obviously me :).
Enough about Europe, currently Iâm re-watching Prison Break and Designated SurvivorâŚstill need to finish House of the Dragon and never started Expats so thereâs that too. To my gluten-free friends in Los Angeles, my favorite cookie shop Fleurs et Sel now has a gluten-free chocolate chip cookie! Iâve been loving the new Rapsody album although Iâm a bit late to the game on listening to it.

Misfits (vegan protein bars), LMNT (electrolyte drink mix) and Spicy tempura seaweed chips (not spicy IMO) from Trader Joes.

Helsinki, FI - Kappeli (patio area) USA New York, NY - Upstairs at Public Records Los Angeles, CA - Wax on HiFi Movies Twister - Such a cliche movie but I mean that in a good way. It has a modern twist and I really enjoyed that the main character and hero of the story is a woman. Great popcorn movie for all ages (or most Iâm not a parent so use your own discretion). Staying In Movies Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (Netflix) - This is a fun movie that has cheesy moments but still enjoyable. A good popcorn movie to watch when you need to decompress from the day. TV The Acolyte (Disney+) - What happens when the âDark Sideâ is trying to seduce you? is the premise for this series. Overall, enjoyed this show considering I donât know much about the Star Wars universe. I could of done without episode 7 considering its only 8 episodes if it was 10 or 12 then it would of been fine. True Detective: Night Country (HBO) - Bad ass women doing bad ass women things. No need to say more other than check out the show. FYI There are spiritual/spooky aspects to the show |
